Full Hosting Backup & Database Dumps

Created a complete backup of the hosting account — archiving all site directories and dumping every database — then split large archives into under-95MB parts with checksums so they could be pulled down reliably.

Technical Details

Backup Layout

Each site got a dated folder containing its full web root. Databases were stored separately under a /dbdumps/ folder with per-database subfolders. A companion manifest lists every part, its byte count, and its checksum for integrity validation on the receiving side.

Exclusions

Two 500MB-class app directories (full self-contained platform installs) were skipped from the archive. Their state is captured instead via live export utilities, so nothing was lost while the archive stayed well under the transfer ceiling.
